A conflict transpired on the world of Gyndine, a planet, near the end of the Yuuzhan Vong War, specifically two months preceding the Battle of Selvaris. The Galactic Alliance attempted, though unsuccessfully, to free the planet. The Yuuzhan Vong then transported the captured Alliance military personnel to their detention facility, a prison camp located on Selvaris.
