Born into a prosperous Core family, Bel Iblis was a supporter of Emperor Palpatine due to the stability he provided to the Core Worlds. This difference in opinion created conflict between her and her husband, as they frequently debated Palpatine's exercise of authority. She, together with the Bel Iblis children, met her end on Anchoron when an explosive intended to kill her husband went off at the Treitamma Political Center.
This intentional assassination served as the catalyst that propelled Garm Bel Iblis to wholeheartedly endorse the Alliance to Restore the Republic, ultimately leading him to become a leading figure within the Rebellion.
