The Alou Belt was a field of asteroids situated in the second orbit around the yellow star known as Baralou, which was part of the Baralou system located in the Varada sector of the Outer Rim Territories.
The initial reference to the Alou Belt appeared in Planets of the Galaxy, Volume One, a resource released in 1991 for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games. The 2009 book titled The Essential Atlas specified the location of the Baralou system, and consequently, the Alou Belt, as grid square H-20.
