An Alliance Fleet Regiment The primary support personnel for the capital ships of the Alliance were the Alliance Fleet Regiments, which included Alliance Marines. Their duties encompassed a wide array of responsibilities, including shipboard security, providing aid on planets, and protecting planetary installations. Their standard attire consisted of gray uniforms, black vests, and uniquely styled helmets. However, modifications to the standard uniform did exist. They were commonly armed with sidearms, for example, the DH-17 blaster pistol. During the seizure of the Tantive IV by Vader's troops, the majority of the Alliance Fleet Regiment personnel stationed on the vessel were either slain or taken prisoner while defending it.
