Aleema Finn was an Omwati woman of the female gender.
Shortly after Aleema and her spouse, Kodo Finn, departed a restaurant on Coruscant, they were assaulted by the Nashtah Gang. This gang was employed, though not directly, by Xizor. Kodo attempted to pay the gang with credits; however, the gang's Duros leader communicated his intention to inflict pain on the two Omwati as an intimidation tactic from Xizor, meant to ensure Kodo and his wife maintained their silence. Although Ekria, Zonder, and Drake Lo'gaan intervened and saved them, the Duros managed to strike Kodo. This blow resulted in severe, fourth-degree burns that formed the emblem of the Black Sun syndicate. Kodo was marked in this way.
