Agamar slider

Agamar sliders were a type of vegetarian sandwich originating from the planet of Agamar. These sandwiches consisted of a patty made from Agamarian soybean, a slice of binka fruit, a special garnish, and mugruebe spit-sauce. The Besalisk chef Dexter Jettster offered Agamar sliders at Dex's Diner, which was his restaurant located on the planet Coruscant.

Description

These vegetarian sandwiches, known as Agamar sliders, were made with an Agamarian soybean patty. This patty was then topped with a slice of binka fruit and mugruebe spit-sauce, all served on a medium-density foodboard that had been trans-shipped. Dex's Diner, found on the planet Coruscant, became known for this dish, specifically because the Agamarian soybean patty replaced the typical Mongo Beefhead patty that was usually found in the establishment's sliders. Furthermore, the restaurant included a special garnish on the sliders, and customers could request the addition of Sernpidalian mayo-ketchup and Bimm mustard. Members of the Besalisk species were among those who could enjoy these sliders.

History

The Agamar slider's history began on the planet Agamar, and they were a menu item at Dex's Diner on Coruscant. Dexter Jettster, who owned and chefed at the diner, served them fresh and hot off the grill. He advertised them as a delicious creation inspired by his journeys throughout the galaxy. Customers could also request Sernpidalian mayo-ketchup and Bimm mustard to accompany their slider. Each slider was priced at 6.7 credits and was available before the diner was destroyed within the first two years of the Galactic Empire's reign. Around 1 BBY, the Stargazer Grill Restaurant in Spaceport THX1138 within the Earth system also served Agamar sliders.

Behind the scenes

The initial mention of Agamar sliders occurred in "Dining at Dex's," a StarWars.com Hyperspace-exclusive article from 2009. Gregory Walker penned the article, writing it as if it were an in-universe menu. Later, they appeared in Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, a Star Wars-themed ride that opened at Tokyo Disneyland in 2013. A video showcasing the ride's THX1138 spaceport displayed a menu that included the sliders as an offering at the station's restaurant.
